Healing for Animals

All living creatures can have energy blocks. As Horses, cats, dogs etc, have no "preconceived notions" or ego to barrier Reiki, they readily tune into the intent and work of the practitioner.

During a session, dogs and cats, will usually lie down once they have tuned into the healing and some go to sleep. After treatment and a brief resting period, there is usually an increase in energy and general well being.  Horses are slightly different, they sometimes put there head almost down to the ground and relax totally. 

The Practitioner channels this life energy through their hands, non-intrusively, to the animal.    

Horses, dogs and cats come under pressure typically through external factors. Changes in diet, infection, environmental changes etc, can have a huge effect on animals. Reiki has the potential to be very beneficial in these types of situations as Reiki is an excellent tool in dealing with psychological and behavioural issues.

Reiki Distant Healing for Pets (including Horses)

      Reiki Distant Healing is the sending of Reiki energy to an animal without the Reiki Practitioner being physically present.

As a Reiki Master / Practitioner,  I am attuned to use the symbol for Distant Healing. This symbol, combined with the other Reiki symbols, facilitates an energy connection between me and the recipient.

                                             It is used when an animal is in need of healing, but is unable to visit a Reiki Practitioner.

As Reiki energy is not subject to the limitations of time, space or distance it can be sent to any animal, wherever they are and will be just as effective.
The healing energy channelled is as strong as that experienced during a personal treatment.
